Consulting producer Will Bratton, Doc’s son-in-law, established the music publishing company Pomus Songs, Inc. in 1991 to represent and administer Doc’s catalog of songs as well as the songs of other very talented songwriters. The company has successfully licensed songs for use in a number of notable films (“Big Lebowski”; “Short Cuts”; “Lost Highway” and others), television shows (“Treme”; “American Idol”; “Dancing with the Stars”…), stage performances, commercial advertising (Pfizer; Toyota; Mercedes Benz; Dolce & Gabbana…) and video games. At present, Will is involved in a variety of music related projects.
